Title

Ragged Edge Klub Cutlery

Description

Cutlery, china, and glassware from Ragged Edgers’ favorite downtown restaurants. From left: Café Boulevard’s flanged fork, silver creamer, and spoon; Little Hungary’s wine siphon, unflanged fork, cranberry-glass trophy, white vase and plate. Owners of Karatsonyi & Kmetz (white ceramic pitcher) subscribed to The East Side. As a Queen of Bohemia, Zoe used one of Little Hungary’s wine bottles to anoint her friends as aristocrats, such as Baron Bernhardt of Hoboken and Lady Betty Rogers of the Bronx. She dined with Ragged Edgers just after mailing out an East Side issue accurately predicting her death.
