Vivian Ridler, Printer to Oxford University from 1958 to 1978, printed this broadside from the Fell punches and matrices cut by Peter de Walpergen.
Walpergen, a German punchcutter formerly employed by the Dutch East India Company, was brought to Oxford by the Rev. John Fell in 1676.
