Description
Railway Age is the linear successor to the American Railroad Journal and remains the industry standard trade magazine to this day. It was originally founded in Chicago as The Railway Age Gazette in 1856. Eventually, through a series of mergers with other titles, Simmons-Boardmann combined The American Railroad Journal with The Railroad Gazette. The company publishes other professional titles like Railway Track and Structures and Progressive Railroading.
